Currently a PhD student in Urban Geography at the University of Neuchâtel (CH), Leah Bonvin is passionate about what blooms at the intersection between personal histories and societal upheavals. As a young researcher, she has published in the scientific journal Volkskunde in Sachsen on the trajectories of garage owners in the former East Germany.
She is also a regular contributor to the podcast the Urban Political, for which she has designed and produced several episodes. In 2024, she was scientific advisor for the Garagen/Geschichten exhibition at Erfurt’s Thüringer Museum für Volkskunde, for which she developed a series of interviews around the exhibition’s themes.
En ce moment doctorante en géographie urbaine à l’université de Neuchâtel, Leah Bonvin se passionne pour ce qui fleurit à l’intersection entre histoires
personnelles et bouleversements sociétaux. En tant que jeune chercheuse, elle a publié dans la revue scientifique Volkskunde in Sachsen sur les trajectoires de propriétaires de garages en ex-Allemagne
de l’Est, et collabore régulièrement avec le podcast the Urban Political, dont elle a conçu et produit plusieurs épisodes.
